Most people hear discipline and think of consequences, punishment, or control. But when we instead focus on teaching, guiding, and problem-solving through connection, we can reimagine discipline and what it means for your family.

About the Rebrand

I was the “wild child” in my family who never quite fit in with the rest.

Growing up, I knew what it felt like to be misunderstood and to get in trouble for behaving in ways I had no control over. Discipline came in the form of yelling, punishment, and disconnection, which made me feel more different and separated from those closest to me.

So when I started working with kids, and especially neurodivergent kids and kids with disabilities, I didn’t follow the traditional discipline methods I experienced or learned about in university. Instead, I led with curiosity and connection, instinctively creating the sense of belonging I had longed for as a child.

And as I watched the kids thrive, I realized something powerful: what felt right intuitively was also backed by neuroscience and childhood development. Connection isn’t just meaningful—it’s what drives real, lasting change. That understanding continues to shape the way I help families today.

Wild Child Whisperer is a space where parents can learn to guide their children with the same curiosity and connection, breaking cycles of disconnection and punishment while raising kids who feel seen, supported, and understood.

I help parents reimagine discipline—not as control, but as collaboration. Not as power over, but power with. When you shift your approach, you:

  •  End the constant battles—without yelling, threats, or guilt

  • Hold firm boundaries while still leading with empathy

  • Get to the root of behaviors instead of just reacting to them

  • Build deep, lasting trust and connection with your child

My approach

In my undergraduate studies as a speech therapy major, there was a big emphasis on correcting behaviors via rewards and punishments.

But I quickly discovered that when I was able to look beyond a child’s behaviors and change my own approach, I had the ability to completely change the dynamics. Kids who were the “problem children” with other educators excelled in my classroom.

It made me realize the impact I had on their behaviors, their confidence, and their focus.

This revelation led to my desire to support parents and other educators, because I understand that collaboration is key to solving problems of conflict and behavioral challenges.

My mission centers around allowing kids to be who they truly are, while providing tools and resources for adults to have harmony in their homes and classrooms.

It’s through connection, collaboration, and the reimagining of discipline, that we’re able to decipher the existing challenges and transform them in ways that work for everyone involved.
